Abstract
ARCE MOGUEL, Mario Heribert. Integration of Women, Youth, and Teachers in the Chiapas Political Context, 1925-1945. Rev. pueblos front. digit. [online]. 2025, vol.20, e738. Epub Feb 14, 2025. ISSN 1870-4115. https://doi.org/10.22201/cimsur.18704115e.2025.v20.738.
The article aims to analyze and describe the process through which youth, women, and teacher groups became active elements in the political system of Chiapas, Mexico, between 1925 and 1945. The assimilation of these groups into the control structures facilitated the operation of the corporatist model and strengthened the ties between the Presidency of the Republic and local forces. The analysis is based on circulars, press notes, letters, official documents, communications, phone calls, and editorials. From the interpretation of the mentioned primary sources, the article suggests the consolidation of practices that allowed individuals from the ranks of the official party to remain in key positions of power, benefiting the operability of the political system.
