Región y sociedad [online]. 2024, vol.36, e1946. Epub 09-Jun-2025. ISSN 2448-4849. https://doi.org/10.22198/rys2024/36/1946.
Objective: Analyzing the relationship between the product attributes promoted by digital media and room price variation in Baja California´s hotel companies which have inclusive and environmental context. Methodology: The quantitative and transversal research uses a hedonic pricing model. Results: Differential product attributes and the awards given by tourism intermediaries through digital platforms exert positive effects on prices when the company incorporates the theme of inclusion. Some promotion strategies through digital media do not necessarily justify prices increase. It also happens with environmental certifications. Limitations: Seasonality was not considered neither all beach destinations in the north of México, reasons which prevent generalization. Conclusions: emotional, personal, and experiential aspects during the lodging process explain price behavior.
