The purpose of this document is to explain Public-Private Partnerships for Development as well as actions taken by NGOs to promote adherence to them, such as the United Nations Global Compact (GC). All in correspondent commitments with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Mexico. It is structured as follows: 1) Background and definitions of CSR; 2) Structure of the NGOs and the Public-Private Partnerships for Development; 3) Explanation of the Global Compact; 4) Public-Private Partnerships for Development actions made by Governments and Private Companies; 5) Mexican organizations supporting the GC and the CSR.
