Abstract

Since the year 2014, Russia has changed its global geopolitical strategies and has reoriented its foreign policy towards Asia, mainly to China. These changes are an answer to the commercial, military and diplomatic sanctions imposed on Russia by Europe and The United States in order to geopolitically isolate it. The Ukrainian conflict is a turning point for Russia, which has provoked its increase in attention and turn to its Eastern and Southern borders, countries such as Vietnam, Pakistan, Iran, India, Thailand, Singapore and some other, are now closer to Moscow’s spheres of influence.
