MEDINACELI DIAZ, Karina Ingrid  y  SILVA CHOQUE, Moisés Martin. Artificial Intelligence impact and regulation in the healthcare field. Rev. IUS [online]. 2021, vol.15, n.48, pp.77-113.  Epub 14-Mar-2022. ISSN 1870-2147.

The evolution of the patient’s electronic medical record (EMR) has allowed, in recent years, computer applications from the registration in information systems to the application of Artificial Intelligence in large data repositories, allowing the use of Machine Learning and Deep Learning, facilitating the identification of patterns for diagnoses, treatments, pharmaceutical applications, among others. Big Data is producing a revolution in the healthcare field with the possibility of handling huge amounts of data, analyzing them and drawing conclusions, taking into account information security criteria that contribute to the anonymization of patient data. International organizations for the protection of human rights are taking measures to investigate the impact of Artificial Intelligence by preparing recommendations in Europe and Latin America, thus an investigation of the doctrine is carried out in order to have a general and purposeful framework for areas to be treated with patient information.
