This article examines feminist urban art practices on Mexico’s northern border as forms of agency, resistance, and community building in territories marked by structural violence and exclusion. Using a qualitative approach based on documentary review and critical analysis of graphic and performative interventions, it explores the work of collectives such as Las Calafias, Chingonas Crew, Colectiva Maremoto and Las Themis. The study interprets the border as a symbolic cartography shaped by power relations, where the female body becomes a site of political dispute and art serves as a means to re-signify the urban environment. Within this framework, feminist artivism is conceived as a form of aesthetic citizenship that challenges hegemonic meanings of public space and enables new modes of agency from subaltern positions, articulating affect, memory, and practices of collective care.
