Abstract
NAHUAT ROMAN, Bernardo; OCHOA HERNANDEZ, Magda Lizet and RODRIGUEZ VARGAS, Miriam. Perceptions of Social Responsibility in a Multinational Socially Responsible Company. A Look from its Human Resource Using the ISO 26000 Standard. Revista Col. San Luis [online]. 2022, vol.12, n.23, 00038. Epub May 27, 2024. ISSN 2007-8846. https://doi.org/10.21696/rcsl122320221444.
In companies, the socially responsible company badge endorses corporate social responsibility practices; however, it is interesting to see the perspective of its most important asset with another equally recognized model. Thus, the objective of this research is to assess the practices of social responsibility in a multinational with the socially responsible company label from the perception of its human resources considering the ISO 26000 standard. This research adopts a quantitative, cross-sectional approach with an explanatory scope. The results evidenced the dimensions with which the company fulfills its role of being socially responsible, being the sample its main limitation. The originality/value lies in the fact that it allows knowing the existing alignment between the corporate social responsibility practices of the employer and the perception of its human resources. As conclusions, there is coincidence between both models to qualify a socially responsible behavior.
