Abstract

GUTIERREZ ALFONZO, Carlos. Anthropologic Job and Literary Work in Chiapas, First Fifties of the 20th Century. LiminaR [online]. 2024, vol.22, n.2, pp.1-1.  Epub Jan 31, 2025. ISSN 2007-8900.  https://doi.org/10.29043/liminar.v22i2.1101.

As if it were a paste, in this article I explore three components in texts produced by anthropologists: who writes, what they write, and who approaches what has been written. These dimensions are constructed with spatio-temporal specifications, which, in accordance with my questions, I place in the state of Chiapas. I describe features of the way in which anthropologists working in Chiapas reconciled the anthropology and the literature, whose interweaving is increasingly pressing, I show what they wrote and I state who has approached those texts. I place emphasis on the scriptural exercises and the moment in which anthropological practice was recognizable as literary.
