This research aims to make a comparison of the entrepreneurial, financial, and technological ecosystem between developed and emerging countries. The study considers a sample of 43 countries and the years 2006 and 2018. For the measurement of the ecosystem we use the Global Entrepreneur Index. To carry out the analysis, the non-parametric method of Nearby Neighborhoods is selected. The findings show that global ecosystems remain unchanged over time. In the financial and technological ecosystem during the study period, leading countries and lower levels of entrepreneurship remain with little change. Due to the static nature of ecosystems, public and private policies, such as culture changes, investment in financial infrastructure and technology should be channeled to entrepreneurs regardless of the country in which the venture arises. The limitations they presented are a small sample of countries in Africa where it is necessary for ventures to arise to improve the well-being of their population. The Nearby Neighborhoods methodology helps us analyze differences between emerging and developed countries, allowing us to draw conclusions on economic policy.
