Resumen
RUIZ CARRILLO, Edgardo et al.
Nursing care practices have an impact on the well-being of the patient, hence the inventory of Evaluation of Care Behaviors Provided by Nurses - Short Version (ECCOE-VA), adapted to the Mexican population, reports the opinion of nurses regarding their care practice with patients. This objective of the research was the exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis of the instrument to verify its goodness of fit. The sample was 517 nursing students, the data was processed and analyzed with the SPSS and Amos program. The Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) allowed us to determine the internal structure of the items, and the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) allowed us to resume the goodness adjustments, so that the psychometric properties of the instrument could be tested. It was found that the items had to be grouped into 4 dimensions as they had better internal consistency coefficients (0.959).
