Resumen
RAMIREZ MANCILLA, Luis Alejandro y CAZARES RAMIREZ, Ricardo Isaac.
The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education in Mexico was unexpected and caused multiple changes in the way of teaching and evaluating in the different higher education institutions in the country, for which it is pertinent to evaluate the terminal efficiency, before and during confinement using two indicators (graduates and college degree) and the ANUIES database, with the aim of visualizing the behavior of university desertion. The results show that most of the states of the Mexican Republic had a decrease in these two criteria and that the problem worsened in places with greater social backwardness.
Palabras llave : Lockdown; desertion; education; university.
