PAEZ MICHEL, Adreissa Lizette. A case study on teaching professional ethics to engineers. Innov. educ. (Méx. DF) [online]. 2020, vol.20, n.84, pp.125-146.  Epub Mar 03, 2025. ISSN 1665-2673.

Despite the consensus that future professionals should receive an integral education, there is little research about the teaching of hu manities’ subjects. This research inquires how the subject of Pro fessional Ethics is taught in the Universidad Politécnica de Sinaloa (UPSIN; Mexico). The course manual was studied via qualitative de scriptive analysis, additionally students of Environmental Technol ogy Engineering Program of the UPSIN participated on a question inventory. Results suggest that a deeper research on professional ethics teaching is needed to reach a more integral approach when training future engineers. The need of practical focus of ethics in education must be attended.
