BELTRAN POOT, Augusto David. Values education through gamification: An action research study. Innov. educ. (Méx. DF) [online]. 2020, vol.20, n.84, pp.103-123.  Epub Mar 03, 2025. ISSN 1665-2673.

Changes at a socio-economic, political, technological and health lev el, have raised questions regarding the values that individuals learn from different sectors or institutions. Moreover, it is questioned whether the attitude formation and values promoted by the teacher, the educational institution where they work at, and the social con text are aligned. The aim of the study is to describe the experiences of 11 teachers who took the course of Strategies for the formation of attitudes and values, whose purpose was to analyze their edu cational context to generate strategies that allow them to form at titudes and values in the classroom or in the educational institution in which they work. An action research methodology was used with a gamified project. Narratives and documents (learning activities) were analyzed, which were collected as data. The results obtained allow us to observe, from the perspective of the participants, that both reflective processes and strategies promoting values are more attractive and influential when applying gamification.
