Resumen
DAMIAN SIMON, Javier.
Currently, universities have the function of promoting entrepreneur ship in addition to teaching and research, however, public universi ties in unfavorable geographical and economic context face several limitations. The aim of this study is to know and describe the strate gies used by a bachelor´s program offered by a non-entrepreneurial university. Specifically, this study describes the strategies used to boost entrepreneurship from the voice of students who are about to graduate. The participants of the study were all students of ninth semester from a bachelor´s degree program at an university in the Papaloapan region of Oaxaca, Mexico. It was found that the educa tional program uses scarcely four resources to boost entrepreneur ship: teachers, a multidisciplinary curriculum, entrepreneurship projects, and academic events on entrepreneurship. Public universities have limitations to fulfill the function of training entrepreneurs because they lack tangible, and intangible resources that character ize an entrepreneurial university.
