This article reconstructs an innovative pedagogical experience in the teaching of the professional ethics of law. This experience incorporates the use of Suits. This series is a trigger for the contents of the subject, and whose analysis through a model focused on development of the characters over time and in the empathy, promoting the students’ reflection on the knowing, the doing and the being of legal practice. The work highlights the ethical principles regulating the professional ethos of the lawyer, assuming that the exercise of law is not limited to the cognitive, but seeks to develop ethical competencies. In order to attain this, it is fundamental to link the contents with a didactic methodology oriented toward the problems.
