The research presented in this work is the result of collaboration between the Department of Art, Design and Architecture of the Iberoamericana University of Puebla and the international firm Clavel Arquitectos with headquarters in Spain, coordinated from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena. Method: The different pedagogical instruments implemented in the educational experience are described: assessment of the task, group work, university-business relationship, jurys, incentives, etc., all structured by a higher order methodology such as Active Learning or based on projects, in order to satisfy the main objective of the research that is summarized in increasing the motivation of the university student. Results: Five international workshops on Architectural Projects developed in the last five academic years as a result of the research are presented. Discussion and conclusions: The instruments tested are evaluated with a data collection from a sample of students.
