Resumen
SANCHEZ GUZMAN, Daniel.
This paper describes an overview of the coexistence between the concepts of industry 4.0 and education 4.0 in Mexico. The evolution of this industry at a global level is presented, as well as the evolution of the educational approach. To demonstrate the development of skills under the education 4.0 approach in students, an exploratory learning sequence was designed and implemented, under the computational and active thinking approaches. This sequence was applied to a population of students of new entry to an academic engineering program (N = 63). The results obtained show in a preliminary way that high-level concepts can be learned through the design of a low-cost didactic sequence, and students show the development of new skills that will be useful in future activities, as students and as engineers.
