Abstract

GONZALEZ HERNANDEZ, Walfredo; MORENO GARCIA, Marcelina Caridad  and  PETERSON ROLDAN, Maritza. Expressions for quantitatively assessing creative learning in computer science. Sinéctica [online]. 2025, n.64, e1666.  Epub June 23, 2025. ISSN 2007-7033.  https://doi.org/10.31391/azgv5520.

The objective of this article is to develop an expression that can be used to quantitatively assess creative learning in computer science during the training of professionals in this field. A documentary analysis of publications related to creativity and its measurement was carried out, which yielded inconclusive results in this regard. Consequently, an expression is devised for the evaluation of this learning, along with another expression for the scaling of said evaluation in accordance with the prevailing system in each country where it is measured. A preliminary validation was conducted by applying mathematical techniques to a case study that assessed creative learning in computer science within the context of the Computer Engineering course at the University of Matanzas. The findings indicated that the expression effectively quantified creative learning in computer science when a single method was employed and when multiple methods were utilized.

Keywords : creative learning in computer science; quantitatively assess.
