Resumen

FERNANDEZ PONCELA, Anna María. The societies of fatigue: definitions, experiences and reflections during the pandemic. Espiral (Guadalaj.) [online]. 2022, vol.29, n.85, pp.121-156.  Epub 31-Oct-2022. ISSN 1665-0565.

This text objective is to describe, explain and reflect the current society in the midst of the pandemic, in relation to tiredness or fatigue. In the sense of mental health symptoms or disorders which main ingredient or one of them is fatigue. This is done through specialized definitions, as well as what people say they feel about it. Apparently we are in a society where fatigue reigns, not only that produced by the work or social rhythm, consumerism and productivity, performance and self-demand of some sectors, but also the pandemic and especially confinement, home-office and distance education have increased fatigue and the realization of it. So, this text is also an invitation to reflect on the subject.

Palabras llave : fatigue; pandemic; confinement; distance education.
