The present is a study of two Morelos formative devices, a formal and an informal one, in both cases we have analyzed the representations that young people maintain of their relations with the political field and the way it impacts on their lives. It stands out that in the young attending school the prevailing figurative cores are the formal way in which it is registered; democracy as part of the field in which it is presented in a disassociated manner and the understanding under the conflict to which it is associated with the contingent denial of the different other. On the other hand, the young people from the informal device present similar representations, politics as a conflict; democracy inside the political field and as an element of the inter-subjective relations and politics as a service, to which they aspire and where the other stands out notably.
