This work, which is part of a greater research, aims at introducing an approach to the existing relation between local identities development and the use of the spaces in Todos los Santos, Baja California Sur (BCS), a place formed by foreign and national immigrants, and native people. In order to understand such coexistence, differences on the use and distribution of private spaces, as well as social ones, that is, squares, streets, and sidewalks are analyzed. In this sense, observation and analysis about their relations during popular feats allow us to grasp cultural discrepancies expressed in the way of participation and people's enjoyment under different circumstances.
