Resumen

HIRSCH ADLER, Ana. The Construction of a State of the Art About Professional Values in Mexico. REDIE [online]. 2006, vol.8, n.2, pp.1-23. ISSN 1607-4041.

This article presents the state of the art about professional values in México and the elements that allowed its construction since 2001. It is an open and meaningful task that grows up when we find relevant researches about the topic in consideration. We describe the elaboration process, in which six resources that permitted its construction were taken in consideration: Two collective books, from where the chapters related to professional values were taken; a state of the art from the Mexican Educational Research Council, in relation to the chapters about professional values; some articles of a monographic number of the Journal Reencuentro about professional ethic; a collective book about values and moral progress in education; and research reports about professional ethic and graduate school thesis that are not included in the five areas mentioned before. The construction of a state of the art is considered very valuable for the discussion of new research projects and to support the development of the projects that are being developed.

Palabras llave : Professional ethics; México.
