Abstract

LOPEZ LOPEZ, Maximiliano  and  CRUZ MEJIA, Oliverio. An inclusive methodology for the balanced assessment of regional productive projects. Econ. soc. territ [online]. 2019, vol.19, n.61, pp.405-449.  Epub May 26, 2020. ISSN 2448-6183.  https://doi.org/10.22136/est20191336.

It is common to evaluate productive projects by governmental or financial entities with a focus marked by the technical and financial feasibility of the project. This article makes an alternative proposal that supports a more inclusive and developmental assessment of welfare states for the communities by integrating a balanced assessment of sociocultural, ecological, and economic issues that truly guarantee sustainable integral development. The proposed methodology focuses its considerations on real problems and needs of the evaluation area and, through its development potential, it can generate a flexible, adaptable, and balanced portfolio of productive projects.

Keywords : project assessment; social development; public management; endogenous development.
