Marginalization is a structural phenomenon. Hunger is a problem of alimentary right and not of food availability. Nourishment would imply a qualitatively and quantitatively preponderant place in marginalization index. This study's aim was to determine and analyze the pattern of alimentary consumption in each of the marginalization strata in Nuevo León and to find if there are significant differences in the rank of the 20 types of food with the most modal consumption frequency in each of the marginalization strata in Nuevo León.
