Abstract

CAMPOS ALANIS, Juan. Análisis del Programa de Educación, Salud y Alimentación (Progresa) en el municipio de San Felipe del Progreso, Estado de México, 1998-2000. Pap. poblac [online]. 2003, vol.9, n.35, pp.181-207. ISSN 2448-7147.

From their instrumentation, the Program of Education Health and Feeding (Progresa), as the main combat program to the federal government's extreme poverty, it has been subject to a series of having evaluated institutional and of academic organisms. The evaluations have been guided mainly to analyze the three components that it manages the Progresa; although institutions like the CIESAS have determined negative effects of the program as soon as the cohesion of the social groups. However, other effects exist potentially negative that affect the municipal government and that in certain moment the population can question the genuineness of the local authority. The present article has as objective to demonstrate with a case of study this problem of loss of the local government's presence before the population.
