This article presents a study that explored the reflective qualities that teachers in training develop or strengthen by making electronic portfolios of their work, in contrast with teachers who use other media to record their experiences. The reflective qualities were constructs grouped into personal, interpersonal, institutional, and social dimensions. The methodology used was the study of multiple cases, and the findings indicate that using an electronic portfolio of work, supported by technology for interaction in discussion groups, favors the development and strengthening of the reflective qualities of the interpersonal dimension, while sharing evidence in files and images facilitates the teachers' comprehension of their teaching practice and students, their learning process, and their decision-making.
