Abstract

SANCHEZ-MEDERO, Rubén. From militant affiliation to media membership: A review of the Spanish case. Convergencia [online]. 2013, vol.20, n.63, pp.41-66. ISSN 2448-5799.

Political parties have undergone changes as a result of their own evolution and the appearance of mass media on the political scene. Some of the traditional duties of the political parties have turned into new tasks aimed almost exclusively at their own influence on mass media. One of them is the role of the partisanship, which has moved from being a key element in the political organization to a lesser position.

Keywords : political parties; media; organization; funding of political parties; partisans.
