Abstract
CLEMENTE-ESTEVAN, Rosa Ana; VILLANUEVA-BADENES, Lidón and CUERVO-GOMEZ, Keren. Development and recognition of moral and socio-conventional transgressions in youth. Convergencia [online]. 2013, vol.20, n.61, pp.15-34. ISSN 2448-5799.
The aim of this work is to analyze the child understanding of moral and socio-conventional norms in the general context of human relations. Likewise, their development and recognition is analyzed, making a reference to moral emotions that appear when transgressions take place, such as shame, guilt, empathy, and so on. Later, these data are connected with the appearance of desadaptive behaviors in youth, coming from transgressions, such as peer rejection, bullying at school, etc. Finally, a proposal of intervention is presented, the Re-integrative Shame procedure, which is focused on trying to repair the damage from the transgressions and based on the normative emotional development of children.
Keywords : moral emotions; moral and socio-conventional norms; youth; desadaptative behavior.
