Even before word, the narrative worlds created by Francisco Tario (1911-1977) emerge from the look, understood as a channeled will. In his work, the look has two functions: the first is performative, enabling the emergence of the nostalgic and nightmarish universes in the diegesis; the second is refered to the literary genre, connecting this narrative with the theory and practice of fantastic story.
