This article focuses on the use of the wixárika image by young graffiti artists and contemporary muralists in the city of Guadalajara. Based on interviews with urban artists from Guadalajara, the integration of the subject of multiculturalism in their works is analyzed. The way in which they link art and politics in order to generate debate between citizens is presented here.
