This article deals with the transformations expressed in the Argentinian rural social landscape as a result of the change of the productive model in the 90's. Taking as a point of departure the producers' life stories who share a similar origin position -to belong to capitalized relatives segments, we reflect on some key material and symbolic features in the processes linked to such transformations: the role played by knowledge, the relationship with the land as well as the family-explotation bonds.
