MEJIA CAMACHO, Alexander; SANTACRUZ, Juan y ROMERO, Julio. Preconstruction of a videogame for dimensional analysis. Educ. quím [online]. 2022, vol.33, n.4, pp.49-64. Epub 13-Dic-2022. ISSN 0187-893X. https://doi.org/10.22201/fq.18708404e.2022.4.0.80572.
The efforts to enhance students' performance on topics related to dimensional analysis characterize teachers assigned to the first semester of university; many of the efforts are focused on presenting dimensional analysis exercises, however decontextualization and technological backwardness can interfere with the appropriation of the concepts by the students. In the present study, an initial framework is proposed for the creation of a video game that allows a better understanding of dimensional analysis themes, for this purpose focus groups and instruments were carried out for the data collection, trying to involve all the actors in the process. Finally, the construction of the proposed missions for the development of a game design document is presented.
