Stoichiometry is one of the most important, and also most difficult, concepts of chemistry. In this article we propose an alternative mechanism to understand stoichiometry in terms of the analytical use the laws of Avogadro, beyond concrete numerical solutions. This method allows to separate general analytical solutions from particular numerical solutions. This separation allows to accelerate the numerical work in exercises or experimental replicas thanks to the fact that the analytical part is already standardized, and also to an accelerated dimensional analysis that we call implicit. The use of equations allows to show the historical link between gas chemistry and stoichiometry. The door is open for a comparative field study between this analytical method and the conversion factor method at the different levels of chemistry study where basic stoichiometry is used.
