The research was based on a theoretical device derived from the discourse studies of Mijaíl Bajtín (1982); with the objective of characterizing the discourse of scientific nature of three chemistry teachers in initial formation, who participated in the implementation of a teaching and learning sequence designed around of chemistry behind some special mechanical effects used in film productions. In particular, this article shows the results of the experience through the construction of that has been called: Discursive Characterization Plane, an unprecedented analysis model underpinned theoretically and methodologically, emerging of this work, with on which was identified and characterized the discourse of the participants.
