The Faculty of Chemistry of the National Autonomous University of Mexico is pleased to announce, through this Special Communication, a new program that will begin to be offered in August 2020: the degree in Chemistry and Materials Engineering. Graduates will be professionals who can identify and solve problems related to materials, including ceramic, electronic, magnetic, biomaterials (prostheses for example), sustainable materials and materials for obtaining alternative sources of energy. The professionals graduated from this degree will be able to carry out interdisciplinary research and coordinate technological projects within a framework of sustainable and socially responsible development.
