Resumen

OLIVA, José María  y  ARAGON, María del Mar. Contribution of analogies to develop modeling thought of chemistry students. Educ. quím [online]. 2009, vol.20, n.1, pp.41-54. ISSN 0187-893X.

First, in this work the importance of models and modeling processes in teaching and learning science, in general, is discussed. Second, it is also analyzed the contribution of analogies to the modeling thought of students in relation to chemical change. Cases and examples are presented that expect to illustrate the usefulness of this resource in the comprehension of the taught models, in the management and use of the learned models and in the development of a better fitted view of the nature and role of models in science.
