Abstract

In this research are presented new findings about the international emigration of the Mexican working class and the configuration of new inter-metropolitan areas connections. The study makes reference to the causes and mechanisms of the migration and the economical insertion forms of Mexican workers in the United States. The research was developed through the experience of international emigration of fired workers of a steel enclave placed in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico. Process that gave place to the connection Monclova-Dallas and Austin, Texas.
