Resumen

CASTILHO, Mariana Wiecko Volkmer de; BIDASECA, Karina; LUSTMAN, Matías I.  y  NEZTOR, Clarisa. If there are mountains, there is a wealth for us, but when they finish with nature, they also finish with us. Argumentos (Méx.) [online]. 2024, vol.37, n.104, pp.19-47.  Epub 11-Ago-2025. ISSN 0187-5795.  https://doi.org/10.24275/uamxoc-dcsh/argumentos/2024104-01.

The text was written by several hands, from the Global South. They are voices from Latin America and companions of the native peoples who seek, through literature and indigenous references, to present how extractivism has impacted the ancestral territories of the Mbya Guarani people in the province of Misiones, Argentina. The focus is on the impacts of the extraction of the Paraná rainforest for pine monoculture. It also tries to draw attention to the resistance put into action by the Mbya people.

Palabras llave : extractivism; nature rights; Mbya Guarani; Misiones; pine trees..
