This article presents the results of a relational analysis of graduate profiles in Archival Science and Library Science programs, carried out within the framework of the Curriculum Innovation Project led by the Inter-American School of Library Science at the University of Antioquia (Colombia). The research question focused on identifying the characteristics, in terms of similarities and differences, of graduate profiles in Archival Science and Library Science programs in Latin America and the Caribbean between 2021 and 2022. This involved a critical review of the programs and their capacity to incorporate trends and needs of the labor market. The study used a documentary research method and consulted the information published on the websites of 45 Archival Science programs and 81 Library Science programs. The analysis results are presented according to the identified categories and their respective approaches. The conclusions confirm that the curriculum cores are focused on document management for Archival Science and information organization and processing for Library Science. Additionally, the study found more than subtle differences in the profiles depending on their affiliation with a specific faculty or school.
