In the face of the growing inter-relationship between spaces -rural/urban, urban/urban, and rural/rural- that completely changes the socio-territorial perspective, this article analyzes the change in productive trends in a place with strong agricultural roots and that in recent decades has transitioned from predominantly agricultural and livestock activities toward greater diversification, increasingly incorporating urban activities. The author researches the new forms of rural-urban links that create new networks of labor interaction in places of different sizes in a national context dominated by urbanization, particularly in the center of the country.
