The effect of osmopriming on the vigour of the seed of the pepper (chili) "chile ancho" was evaluated after 7 days with polyethylene glycol (PEG) and AG3 or KNO3 and immersion at 0, 6, 9 and 12 h. The best combination was 750 of PEG and 500 ppm of AG3 at 9 h (90.1%) and 750 of PEG and 200 ppm of KNO3 (88.9%) at 9 h of immersion.
