PEREZ-REVELES, María de la Luz; NECOECHEA-MONDRAGON, Hugo y RIOS-BOLIVAR, Humberto. Qualities and attributes of Mexican researchers, according to the vitae researcher development framework. Contad. Adm [online]. 2021, vol.66, n.4, e2691. Epub 02-Sep-2024. ISSN 0186-1042. https://doi.org/10.22201/fca.24488410e.2021.2691.
Different models for researcher’s development have been reported around the world, but in Mexico has not been adopted a model, perhaps due to the lack of a quantitative evaluation of the Mexican researchers who determine its current situation. The purpose of this study is to determine if there is a correlation between the domains defined by the Vitae model and the level of Mexican researchers in the National System of Researchers and to determine if the Vitae model is applicable in Mexico to develop worldclass researchers. The results of an online survey conducted among 276 researchers belonging to the National System of Researchers working for Mexican universities and research center, were analyzed using a robust multivariable analysis methodology, The proposed multivariable model confirmed the low correlation between the Vitae model and the SNI level.
