Resumen
MORA MURO, Jesús Iván. Antonio Caso: a Christian without a Church. Secuencia [online]. 2013, n.87, pp.155-173. ISSN 2395-8464.
This paper explores Antonio Caso's Christian thought as a form of religiosity that opposed Catholicism in Mexico. This Christianity combined with liberal ideas and certain philosophies from the first half of the 20th century: such as personalism and intuitionism, resulted in a faith that wasquite separate from the institutionality defended by the Church. The author highlights the survival of Christianity despite the secularization process in one of the most representative members of the Ateneo de la Juventud and Mexican intellectual life of the past century.
