This qualitative study it can be framed within UNESCO's 2030 education agenda on inclusive education, as well as the pressing problem of homophobic bullying (UNESCO, 2013). The objective was to investigate the stereotypes that prevail in higher education teachers about homosexuality. The theoretical approach is the psycho-socio-cognitive of Tajfel (1981). Seven teachers of different careers were interviewed in a Higher Education Public Institution of the Mexico’s Valley Metropolitan Zone. We found a number of stereotypes regarding the homosexual population related to a lack of knowledge about homosexuality and sexual orientation.
