This is an analysis of the workday impacts about the academic performance of undergraduate students in the University of Guadalajara (campuses in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area). Using data from the survey of students on the labor situation in 2009, the function of conventional productivity of the school academic performance is calculated. Our finding suggests that if students increase one hour their workday , the negative effect on grade point average (GPA) is -0,085, when estimated by Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) and reaches -0,232 points, with the method of Two-Stages Least Squares (2SLS).
