BOIX VILELLA, Salvador; BARRERA GARCIA, Raquel; LEON ZARCENO, Eva and SERRANO ROSA, Miguel Ángel. Conciliación trabajo-familia y salud psicosocial en los inicios del COVID-19. The main objective of this pilot study is to analyze the subjects’ work and family reconciliation levels (i.e., family climate, work-family conflicts, positive and negative work-family interaction) taking into consideration the existing psychosocial health variables (stress, burnout, work tension, job satisfaction and mentality towards stress) in order to compare two groups: non-university professors and non-professors. Furthermore, we will examine the relationship between the work-life balance variables and the psychosocial variables. A total of 95 subjects (50 teachers and 45 workers from other groups) participated in this cross-sectional study. The results show that teachers score significantly higher in family climate and in use of skills, and lower in burnout and mentality towards stress. They also reveal that, in both groups, the work-life balance variables correlate with the use of skills, burnout and stress factors. Finally, we discuss these results emphasizing the need to implement effective measures that help improve work, family and personal well-being.
