The restructuring of university in Chile has as starting point the notorious politic conditions at the end of the 20th century and is kind of a proof for the commercialization of higher education. The way in which Chilean universities are governed and organized follows the macroeconomic model and therefore generates within academy diverse and even conflicting imageries.
