Abstract

This article deals with the points of convergence and divergence of two points of view about university curriculum transformation: the World Bank’s liberal approach to education and an alternative approach called by its creators “Critical Innovation”. The latter pretends to favor the best university training able not only to ensure a better insertion into the knowledge society but also to meet the country’s demands, to strenghten the social values and to help understanding our origin and identity.
