The text presents preliminary results of a diagnosis study in a qualified process titled "Access, use and appropriation of the Technologies of Information and Communication (TIC) in the teaching staff of the Pedagogic National University"; Likewise it emphasizes the need to conduct this type of investigations (research) to conduct some institutional actions in relation to the insertion of TIC and the formation of teachers.
