The aim of the paper is to present some anthropological reflections on the parade on May 5 in the city of Puebla, which is held annually by one of the main avenues of the city. The event we're considering it as a ritual act, since it developed a series of events such liturgical refers to mythical elements and a series of expressions of dramatic and theatrical, all civic type. Moreover, the act mentioned is one of the most significant moments for Puebla society.
